When I first opened my shop in 2008 it was a woodworking shop called woodnwonders. I did high end scrolled portraits in wood. sales were ok,but not what I expected. what I was making was just too expensive to sell on etsy.People needed to see the product in person before they would buy and that just limited my sales area. So I decided to switch my area to something else,but what. Well one day my wife and I were burning a candle from a local store when we said ,boy this candle has lost it's scent already & we were only halfway done with it. So I decided then that this is what I want to do and candlekraze was born. But before I put the shop on etsy I researched alot of different suppliers till I found the perfect wax,color and scent's. The wax I use is a paraffin blend that is clean burning and absorbs the scent really well. All my candles are triple scented for max. scent throw. And they will burn between 40 to 50 hrs if you burn your candle the right way. I believe that once you try one of my candles you will not go back to the others. You see another passion of mine and my wife's is helping with dog rescue's. We have done some transporting,home visits and even tried fostering,but that didn't go well because we ended up keeping the foster.At that point we stopped fostering because we would keep everyone. We have 3 dogs that are the center of our life,and we couldn't live without them. We had 4 but our lab boy passed away unexpectantly last year from an anurism when he was just 13yo. Our 3 remaining boys our Dachshunds. two are shorthair blk & tan , and our 18yr old rescue is a longhaired red. So you see dogs mean alot to us.
